The Brief: Parents of a 6-year-old boy fascinated by astronomy wanted to replace a high echoing concrete ceiling with a calming celestial night sky to ease bedtime anxiety.
The Challenge: The ceiling stood at 3.9 meters high with central AC ducts crossing directly over the center of the bed area.
The Architectural Solution: KidsCasa framed a floating acoustic ceiling cloud that dropped to 3.4m, concealing the AC ducting behind linear slot diffusers, threaded 350 optical starlight fibers, and installed 2200K cove lighting.
